News Alert vine in intampinarea doritorilor de informatii stiintifice bazate pe date concrete, ce
pot fi integrate in dezvoltarea, implementarea sau revizuirea politicilor de mediu. El se adreseaza
deopotriva celor direct implicati in politicile de mediu si publicului larg, deoarece are un format
prietenos si este scris intr-un limbaj accesibil, non-tehnic. Diseminarea informatiilor se bazeaza
pe e-mail si este un serviciu GRATUIT. Accesand link-urile recomandate pot fi urmarite informatii
specifice din 20 de domenii de cercetare, ceea ce corespunde prioritatilor cuprinse in Programele
de Actiune ale Uniunii Europene referitoare la mediu:

The News Alert Service was established to meet the need for easy-to-read scientific information
based on solid scientific evidences that can be integrated into development, implementation or
revision of environment policies.
Addressed to policy-makers and the wider public, this service is designed to promote - in a
user-friendly form and in a comprehensive non technical language - the integration of the
environmental science into management and decision-making practices and to help to communicate
understanding of environmental issues to the general public.
It is weekly disseminated by e-mail to the subscribers FREE OF CHARGE.
